About Gabriela
A professional path that began with my own family.
My passion for genealogy began in 2018 during the recognition of my Italian citizenship. Since then, I have helped families identify ancestors, locate records and understand their origins.
I am an APGBR-certified genealogist, an APG member and a Family History Research student at BYU. I also hold degrees in History, Visual Arts and Film.

I know very little about my family. Can I still begin?
Yes. Names, photographs, places, approximate dates and family stories can all provide a starting point. Research usually begins with the most recent generations.
I have a foreign surname. Does that mean I may qualify for citizenship?
A surname can be a clue, but it does not prove family origin by itself. The ancestor must be identified and the connection between generations documented.
Does the research guarantee citizenship eligibility?
Research gathers and analyzes genealogical and documentary evidence. Recognition depends on the applicable law and the decision of the relevant authorities.
Can I research my family without pursuing citizenship?
Yes. Research can identify ancestors, reconstruct family journeys, organize archives and preserve family history.
