Do I need to have every record?
No. Existing documentation is reviewed and helps identify which records still need to be located.
Is a foreign surname enough?
A surname can be a clue. The assessment must identify the ancestor and document the relationship between generations through existing and newly located records.
What if I only know a few details?
You can begin with partial information. During the initial consultation, we determine whether it is enough for this assessment or whether the case should begin with genealogy research.
